QUT Big Lift acknowledges the Traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Owners of the land, sea and waters of the Australian continent, and recognise their custodianship of culture and Country, extending our respect to Elders both past and present, and upcoming future leaders. Additionally, as part of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) community we acknowledge the Turrbal and Yugara, as the First Nations owners of the lands where QUT now stands. We pay respects to their Elders, lores, customs and creation spirits. We recognise that these lands have always been places of teaching, research and learning.
