This year the QUT Big Lift crew travelled to Cherbourg, Murgon, Eidsvold, Theodore and the Sunshine Coast for an incredible 9 day trip which ran from November 29th to December 8th. In each town amazing new experiences, stories and learning happened. We faced challenges, like changing plans for bush fires, and also many happy moments volunteering in the different communities. 
 
Our end of year trip is always full of service learning and discussion about the communities we visit, particularly after visiting the Ration Shed Museum in Cherbourg and gaining more insight into Australia's history.

Once again, QUT Big Lift is so thankful to have had this opportunity to visit each of these wonderful towns and it would not have been possible without support from family, friends, QUT and the towns themselves. We can’t wait for our next service-learning trip!
