This year we were able to spend two days in Moura, allowing us a full day and a half of time to spend completing projects in the town. These projects included;
- Cleaning and maintenance at the Moura Tennis Centre
- Preparing and painting the fence at Kianga Hall
- Cleaning and maintenance at the Moura Hack and Pony Club
- Gardening at the Moura Retirement Village
- Maintenance at the Moura Community Childcare Centre
- Maintenance at the Moura Bowls Club
- Mural Painting at the Moura Aquatic Centre
- Painting at the Moura State School
as well as spending time with the children and youth at Moura State School and Moura State High School.
After our morning in Eidsvold, we set off for Moura where we were rewarded with some free time at the Moura Aquatic Centre before a community BBQ. Heading back to the Tennis Centre well after dinner we set to organising groups for our full day of projects for the next day.
On our final night in Moura, we were treated to a wonderful BBQ with the community at the Moura RSL. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet many of the towns people and share in their community spirit.
The next morning we finished off our final projects, and packed our gear once more. Shortly we were on our way to Agnes Waters to start some much sort after rest and recreation. After being waylaid by a shredded tyre and a few wrong turns we made it to La La Land in Agnes Waters.
